Apple Dapple Cake

Apple Dapple Cake

3 eggs Beat well.


1 ¼ c. oil

2 tsp. vanilla Add, beating well.

2 c. sugar


2 ¾ c. white flour Sift together and add.

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Ground cinnamon

¼ tsp. Nutmeg


¼ c. white flour Mix together, then fold in.

3 c. apples, diced

1 c. nuts, chopped

1 c. coconut (optional)


Pour into a greased 9” tube pan or bundt pan.

Bake at 350* for approximately 70 minutes.


Topping: Mix in saucepan and boil for 2-3 minutes.

1/3 c. margarine Pour hot toppings over cake about 5 minutes after removing


1 c. brown sugar from oven.

¼ c. milk

1 tsp. Vanilla


If sheet cake is desired, I usually bake it for around 40-45 minutes in a 11 X 15 pan (or

can do a 9 X 13 pan and a 9 X 5 loaf pan.) Then for a sheet cake I usually double the



Optional Topping: Mix 1 cup powdered sugar and 2 Tbsp. milk, and spread as a glaze

over top of hot cake.
