words of advice

NEVER ever eat leftovers that one can't remember
what day it was made

or

if something tastes, looks, and smells good
until halfway through eating it when it suddenly ISN'T any of the above anymore

or

the dogs won't eat the scraps off your plate

don't say I didn't warn you

this post is brought to you by 4 day old chicken parmigiana food poisoning :-(

catching my breath

Not sure anyone is still reading this blog. Don't blame ya because I am so sporadic at writing. Such is life :-)

We are still waiting to hear back from the vet on Patriot's heart. Both girls are finally over their kennel cough and I hope we don't revisit that any year soon! Pate seems to be feeling in good health and is actually playing more than she used to.  She has taken to jumping up over stairs instead of using them and having the zoomies just because she can. We love seeing her so frisky! Justice loves having her sister play with her. I think the pups MIGHT be slowing down on eating growing by leaps and bounds because our weekly bag of Taste of The Wild Lamb is now lasting almost 2 weeks. We are still feeding their normal  amounts so I'm not sure how thats working.

Princess turned 11 last week. My mom came down from Oklahoma and we had a busy few days of visiting and soccer games. 3 games in 4 days to be exact! BUT.... we are in FIRST PLACE! Her team has only had 1 game that they were scored on out of the 6 they've played. And they should have won that game but had several goals turned back because of "off sides" ... that wasn't even on our team doing it... and coach is not happy with the refs... and SIGH ... so much drama for U12 girls soccer! LOL!

We threw a huge party for her this weekend. I was a bad momma and didn't take pics. We rented a bounce house for the first time and that was so fun! We did decorate with streamers and balloons and pretties... then a front blew in and all that work ended up TPing the neighborhood. oops.  We way over bought on the sweets and are still digging out from under the cake and ice cream. The girls had friends stay overnight and we really enjoyed having a house full of tween and teen girls ... Bub was not impressed as the lone boy :-(

I'm still working to declutter my attic and bedroom. Progress is slow mainly because I'm not sure if I want to sell stuff or just haul it away to the donations bin. I guess I'll just have to get over myself and load the truck this weekend. I'd rather have clean and clear floors than STUFF money.

I should be getting ready. We have a surprise party in an hour and half and church tonight and I'm not fit for public.  The kids and I started walking and biking today. We walked the dogs about 16+ city blocks and then rode bikes around town for a while.  I have added almost 100 lbs of fluff since I married my love and I want some of it to leave ASAP!  Just have to plan to work out earlier in the day. Noonish in Texas even in mid April is not the best time for working out!

No pain no gain!
that goes for my weight and my decrappifying!
NO EXCUSES.
