The bad side of Texas rain...

FIRE ANTS!
They seem to swarm after rains and that is not good in my yard as my little girl is severely allergic to their bites.

I was out in my flower beds trying to break up the mulch, which has packed down from composting, and I found huge fire ant dens! I am talking 2-3 ft across dens!
One has taken over my bird bath and surrounding area. One is smack dab in the middle of my yard and I am thankful I did not mow and step in it. Been there down that. Got more bites than I could count before I could pull off my sneakers. OUCH!

So today I head to Home Depot to buy ant killer...
and pray that next week's predicted rain will not just wash it all away thus repeating the cycle

The reversal surgery- an update

I can not believe how GOOD I feel!
This is such a blessing and a miracle!
PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

I have started dropping weight for the first time in years! I am not starving all the time and cravings the carbs and sweets. My clothes are starting to get looser and people are noticing the weight loss and giving good comments. :) My face is clearing up from the acne I have suffered with since the ligation. My hair is no longer coming out in huge handfuls just because of brushing or showering. The pain I had monthly seems to be gone so far. I am not as tired as I used to be...in fact I have so much energy my hubby has a hard time holding me back so I can recover properly (slowly).

I am over doing it some days and I do regret going over board when I feel the stomach muscles burn and cramp at the incision site.

I am so excited to see what else is in store as I fully heal over the next few weeks!

Noah's Ark Seminar-my thoughts

It was a wonderful evening full of old and new friends that I was not expecting to run into.
The pictures and information showing the ark was amazing! It made clear there could be no other reason for the 'boat shaped object' to be up on the mountain. The rivets found. The layered wood with no growth rings. The timbers and beams still there properly spaced for the hull. 300 Royal Egyptian cubits long from front to back (sorry I am not up on boat speak)

Then they showed the Exodus crossing and WOW!
The beach where Moses stood and God parted the sea.
The alter to the golden calf with drawings of the calf still there for all to see.
Pharaoh's chariot wheels laying in the sand covered with coral.

And most interesting was the sabbath and sun worship talk. WOW. Mind blowing!
All the false gods/messiahs who have been made to resemble THE ONE TRUE MESSIAH.
The myth of Dec 25 birth.
The changing of the sabbath by the church.
I wish I had picked up the book but I was too busy making new friends. ;)

I hope the seminar comes back so I can go again.
I have so many friends who wanted to attend with me but I gave too short of notice. I won't make that mistake again. :)

If anyone went to the seminar I would love to hear your thoughts!

Making changes

I am slowly backing away from message boards.
It is so hard to leave the friends I have made online.

My life is getting so hectic these days that I must learn to prioritize my time including online.
That is one reason my blog has not been updated too much lately!

I'm sorry.
I hope in my leaving I have not offended anyone, it is NOT personal!
I promise.
