french chair make over

Snagged this chair and ottoman for $45 at a garage sale across the street last week.

Stripped it of its horrid 1980s floral fabric
and cat peed on goose down cushions

Slapped some primer on
Added a coat of creamy colored paint
and followed up with
coffee brown antiqueing
(sorry no pics of that)

then last night I killed my hands nerve endings stapling
 on my drop cloth

BUT
the foam pulled too hard on the staples and they began popping out

On to plan B which involves me buying a air powered staple gun
sewing cushions.

This may take a while.
I did find a staple gun on Amazon.com that should work.
HELLO! Swagbuck's Amazon Gift Cards gonna buy me some tools!
wanna earn FREE stuff too? click the link!
I will have to take the chair to Hubby's to use the compressor.
and my Mom may or may not have to come to my house and help me sew...
depends on how brave I am
