in Montana for family emergency

On Sunday night Hubby's big brother became dizzy and fell in his home breaking every part of his nose and ripping apart his face/lips. His wife called the medics and he was rushed to the hospital. Routine tests Monday morning revealed massive blood clots in his legs and lungs. The Dr's are shocked he lived. He was rushed into surgery to have a filter placed in his artery and more surgery was possible.

My MIL was still at my house when this happened and she wanted to get back home ASAP. We didn't feel she should drive alone in the emotional state she was in. Hubby was afraid he might not see his brother again so we made the decision to drive back with her.

We left at 6pm Monday night and got to Clayton, NM at almost 3am. We had about 5 hrs of sleep before we started to drive the final 14 hours to Montana Tuesday. Made it to the hosp with just minutes to visit before ICU was closed to visitors.

Hubby's brother has made huge strides in recovering. He was moved from ICU today and as of now there are no immediate plans for more surgeries. He is still in a 'step down' room and will be for a while. The dr says it will be a long hospital stay and major life changes will be required.

We ask for prayers for-
full healing
God's provision as life changes are made
