all day as we cut, smashed, piled, and hauled away debris we hear "This is the BEST day ever!" from the kids. a hot dog roast and marshmallows was icing on the cake.
of course then it was taking bets on if the fire station just a '23-second-response-time-without-running-the-stop-sign-or-using-lights' would could stop us from having an open flame! the firemen stayed away and we sat out for hours watching satellites pass overhead something I did with my grandparents when I was their age.
