Remember 1776!

Early voting started last Wednesday here in Texas. I haven't made it out to vote YET due to being under the weather.  With all that is going on in Washington D.C this last year I know my way of voting is changing.
NO MORE STRAIGHT TICKET VOTING HERE!
I know terrible of me to just vote based on party and not candidate's voting record.

This year I am going for more than party affilliation and taking a hard look at what was voted for and by whom.

I saw a bumpersticker last month that really made me think and look up some early American history.

Remember 1776!
Re-elect NO ONE

The founding fathers never intended their appointments to government as lifelong careers. They went. They served. They came home to their farms, families and jobs.

The last election called for "CHANGE" but we will never have change if we keep bringing the same people back to office.
