This year we promised that our oldest would get her own room and it would be made over just for her.

So far-

new bedspread

and

Big Daddy's family's antique spindle bed

(queen size)

another antique passed down in the family

$10 garage sale find -step one turquoise paint

(it was white...bad blogger for no true "before" pics)

as it is today-

Berh's light french gray dry brushed over it

then heavy sanded to show blue and white layers

will be glazed and hardware added

Our little girl's 13th birthday in October is our deadline to get this done. I'll keep you updated as I finish up projects.
