I've got a crush

 On a room redo posted over on DIY Show Off....

What is not to love?!
Did I mention I recently picked up my very own red chandy for FREE?? 
Soon we will have lovely floors like that and I hope to talk the big guy into letting me repaint. I am so over pumpkin butter. 5 yrs that color has served me well but I am starting to feel like I live in a cave and I want LIGHT! Our furniture is dark and heavy and staying.  In the meantime I will just stick with my new crush and dream :-)

grain sack pillows

I picked up this beautiful blue/gray grain sack on eBay last week.  I was very surprised to find it soft as velvet and nearly mint condition.  The only "flaw" is the white band actually has the word "alfalfa" printed in cream but it is so faint most people don't see it.

 After being terrified of my sewing machine I bucked up and just did it.  I was shaking so bad cutting the grain sack in half and praying this isn't some rare collector's type thing I was ripping up.
